Hi,
I'm really interested in examining the code and data used in the "Analyzing Fatality Data Demo" under resources on the rapidminer site. Does anyone have the files/code that I could look at and install on my system?

Thanks
Tom

    Hi,

Good question - I should have it somewhere (since I created the demo) but did not find it after a quick search.  Maybe I stored it on one of our servers but I forgot which one :smileyembarrassed:

But at least some starting point here: The data was coming from the FARS data repository which you query here: http://www-fars.nhtsa.dot.gov//QueryTool/QuerySection/SelectYear.aspx

I have to admit that the data sets are somewhat nasty and change their structure between the years so the amount of data prep steps you need to put together is huge.  I will try to find the processes I have used but no promises...

    Best,

    Ingo

    Hi Ingo,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm probably less interested in using the US data, but rather adapting the example to Australian data.

Hopefully you can find the processes. Do you also have any of the source code for the rapidminer server implementation?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Dear Tom,

RM Server is not open source, but there is a limited free version which you can download from your account page at https://my.rapidminer.com/ .
