Linear regression - Test & Validate Model - Absolute error variance

Hi There,

I built a linear regression model using the attached data set.I am getting absolute error(using validation technique) as 23.55 which is on a higher side

How to minimize the absolute error and squared error? What optimization techniques should I use?
