Rapidminer 7.1 MySQL

Hello,

I've just seen in the release notes, that MySQL connector has been replaced with MariaDB.

We have not tried this yet, has anyone first hand info about handling MySQL with the new connector? Or the last state of MySQL connector will be available [somehow] while everyone will not migrate onto MariaDB?

Thanks,

Chill

    Hi Chill,

You can still download the MySQL driver directly from the MySQL website and install it manually thru the Connections > Manage DB drivers dialog.

I just connected a new MySQL DB using the Maria driver and it works so far, but then again I haven't tested it harshly.

    Hi Chill,

if you want to replace the MariaDB driver there is also a corresponding guide on the docs page available.

    Cheers,

    Marcel
