"R extension problem"

RapidMiner refuse to start after R extension being installed according to the instruction. Just exit after "loading icons".

    Hi,
    could you start RapidMiner using one of the scripts and post the console output here?
    Do you use the latest versions of everything?

    I have the same problem. I see the splash screen for a little while, then it closes.  When I run the RapidMinerGUI script, I get the output below.  It repeats forever until I close the console.  When I run rapidminer script, it closes the console before I can copy the text.

    I have the exact same problem. everything just as described above. I am using R 2.12.2 64bit

    I just uninstalled and installed RapidMiner again - because now I just want a way to get back on RapidMiner, whether the extension works or not - and it still does the same thing. So right now, I cannot use RapidMiner from my computer at all!! anyone, any idea? help please....

    Hi,

    you could remove the extension manually before starting RapidMiner. Usually, the extensions are installed in your home directory under .rapidminer5/extensions. Please note that the directory ".rapidminer5" might be hidden. You could simply remove the extension file from there and also the entry in the corresponding xml file.

    Thank you! I hope to have better luck with the extension in the near future, as I was really looking forward using it. I will post any luck I get on that.
