"JAR file missing after installation"

Hi,

I've just checked out the recent version of RapidMiner from CVS and installed
the software with "ant" on my Linux system. However, I couldn't find the
rapidminer.jar file. Are there any special installation commands to have
ant build the jar file automatically?

Greeting,
Miriam

    Hi Miriam,

yes, there is such a command. Simply run ant with the target dist. This should create the jar file.

... just another hint. You do not have to have the rapidminer.jar in order for RM to work. The classes generated by ant compile in the directory build will do.
