Due to recent updates, all users are required to create an Altair One account to login to the RapidMiner community. Click the Register button to create your account using the same email that you have previously used to login to the RapidMiner community. This will ensure that any previously created content will be synced to your Altair One account. Once you login, you will be asked to provide a username that identifies you to other Community users. Hi,

I'm new to RapidMiner and I am having problems installing extensions,

When I try to use MarketPlace, a dialogue box appears asking me to enter the Username and Password for http://rapidupdate.de:80/UpdateServer.

I do not know that the Username and Password should be. I tried the username and password I used to register but that's obviously no what it is asking me for.

Does anyone know what the username and password should be?

I cannot find this information in any of the other posts on this site.

    Hi,

    you seem to have either an old version of RapidMiner, or you have settings defined from an older version. Current version of RapidMiner is 5.3.9. If updating does not help/you are using the latest version, please go to "Tools" -> "Preferences" -> "Update" and change the "rapidminer.update.url" to "http://marketplace.rapid-i.com:80/UpdateServer" and try again after restarting RapidMiner.
