I have 2 CSV-files.

Events:
id,event,day
1,work,1
2,work,2
3,theatre,2
4,work,3
5,work,4
6,work,5
7,trip,6
8,sport,7
9,relax,7
Days of week:
id,day
1,monday
2,tuesday
3,wednesday
4,thursday
5,friday
6,saturday,
7,sunday
I want to join both files, so that I have the real days of weeks instead of their ids.

I imported both files and used the Join-operator. There I specified as left key attribute "day" and as right key attribute "id":

When I run the process, I only see the ids instead of the days of the week:

hi...that's because you have the attribute "day" in both datasets.  Check the optional box "keep both join attributes" or rename one of your "day" attributes.  :)

By the way, if you assign the ID role to "id" in both sets and check the box "use id attribute as key", you don't have to manually select the ID attributes in the join options.

    Enjoy!
