Trying to install R extension wihtout success. Finally, decided to go to the basics... How to know which version of the RapidMiner I originally installed?

I'll assume you're on Windows because on all other operating systems it depends on what Java version you have installed locally. The quickest way to check is by navigating to the installation folder of RapidMiner Studio, going into the "jre\bin" subfolder and look for a file called "WindowsAccessBridge-64.dll". If that is there, you have the 64 bit version. If the file is instead called "WindowsAccessBridge-32.dll", you have the 32 bit version.
Thank you. It turned out that I had 32 bit version although I thought I had 64 bit version. Will install RM again in a 64 bit form. Let's keep fingers crossed that everything will go smothly now
