hmm this sounds like a legitimate "Product Feedback" thread.  Pushing it to there for the dev team to look at.

    So it seems that there is a difference between what H20 does with confidence values and what you would expect (a threshold of 0.5). We've added it to our list of feature requests. Thanks!
