how do you write word list to excel? other answers, not working - does write excel work in studio

Please help - need to get word list into excel.  I have paid studio account.  Getting word list from process write excel says it is not receiving the right data type?  does this work in studio?

Have you tried the WordList to Data operator from the Text Processing Extension?
The second output port (example set) can be used with the Write Excel operator.
