We are trying to import tables from a MS Access database and do not find out a way. Is ther a direct way?

The 'read access' operator should do the trick. It worked for me on quite some occasions

is right, the "Read Access" operator should do the trick. If it doesn't, you might be safer using a JDBC driver to read Microsoft Access files. I used the one at
http://ucanaccess.sourceforge.net/site.html
with RapidMiner Server.
