is there any approach for suspending a long running RM process, restarting RM after say few hours and then resume the process?
Thanks, Lucian

Hello,
you can use the pause button in the RM toolbar to pause a process (and of course the resume button to resume it again), however you cannot close RapidMiner during the pause. I'm afraid if you close RM, you have to start the process from the beginning.

Hi,
just as a side note: If you have long running processes, the usage of our server RapidAnalytics is recommended anyway. Here the process will be running independently of the fact if you are connected or if you have to shutdown your workstation or whatever.
