"[SOLVED] Filter examples node, how to attribute op attribute ?"

Help states "attribute op value" is how the node works, I've been trying to see if there's a way to call again another attribute, but I can't find it.

For example: attribute1 = attribute2.

I'm guessing there must be some sort of escape character for marking "attribute2" as an attribute call, but I don't know it.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

that is not supported out of the box. You will need to utilize the "Generate Attribute" operator for that, create a new flag attribute with an expression like "attribute1==attribute2" and then filter on that flag attribute (which you can remove afterwards).

    Regards,

This is not entirely true, Marco is too modest. :)
He himself implemented the desired feature, it is available out of the box in the Filter Examples operator in RapidMiner 6.

    Best regards,
    Marius
