    Hi,

this "error" occurs for some installations while it does not for others. In either case however there is no actual problem and it can be safely ignored. While it does look a bit scary, your server should work just fine, correct?

    Regards,
    Marco

Unfortunately not.  When I run standalone.sh It terminates after about one and a half minutes with ...

    Hi,

can you please go to your Server/standalong/log folder, delete the server.log, try to start the server again and then paste the entire new server.log here?

    Regards,
    Marco

There is more but if I add it, it'll go over the maximum allowed length (20000 characters).  I'd be happy to email it to you though.

    Hi,

the good news is, there is no error whatsoever in your log. The bad news is it seems to be stuck on

    21:59:39,129 INFO  [javax.enterprise.resource.webcontainer.jsf.config] (ServerService Thread Pool -- 67) Initializing Mojarra 2.1.18-jbossorg-1 20130205-1414 for context '/RA'
How long did you wait after starting the server before copying the log?

I have seen this before but we were never able to reproduce this. What version of CentOS are you using exactly?

    Regards,
    Marco

I am on "CentOS release 6.5 (Final)".  Here's the console output when I run standalone.sh: http://pastebin.com/njHcbTHk

And I should add it has cPanel on that box and I am running Tomcat (or rather easy-Tomcat7) as well as MySQL on it.

    Hi,

how much free memory was available at the time? I did search around a bit and this seems to sometimes happen in case there is not enough memory available.
Was it a fresh install or did you update the .ear in an existing installation?

    Regards,
    Marco

    Hi,

I can't say it with certainty, but your low memory might be the source for the problem. I'd recommend to have at least 2 GB of free memory available when starting RM Server with a Starter license (more for bigger licenses). While it may run on some machines with less than 1 GB of free memory, it may not on others.

    Regards,
    Marco

Thanks for all your help.  You guys rock.  I guess I just will provision some hardware on EC2 and get it running there.  I might post on the board for some hints for that.

Upgraded the server to 4GB of memory and that solved my problem.  Thanks for all your help and I guess you could mark this thread as [SOLVED].
