Determining the Emotional Content of Text

I have two large texts.  I want to compare them to see if one has more emtional content than the other.  How do I do this?  I downloaded a "sentiment" extension.  However, I can't even get my text into rapid miner because it won't accept it.  Will RM not work with word files?  How does my text have to be formatted to enter it?

sorry-I'm not very computer savvy

If you have only two texts you can just copy and paste them into RapidMiner using the "Create Document" attribute.

If you have multiple texts you can save them as plain .txt files and read those in using "Read Document" (potentially within a loop if you have many files to read).  Unfortunately Word documents can be a challenge with RapidMiner.
