Manual Update?

Dear all

is there a possibility to update rapidminer and it's extensions manually without the update manager?

    Hi Oliver,

    you can download files for the main program and extensions at sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/yale/files/

    For updating extensions you can simply place the respective jar-files (from the downloaded current version of any extension) inside the RapidMiner sub directory lib/plugins. But then be sure to disable previously installed extensions via "Manage Extensions" from the help menu.
    For updating RapidMiner itself it might be sufficient to replace the lib/rapidminer.jar with the new one from the downloaded program archive.
