RapidMiner hangs after Import wizard

Running 5.0.011, on loading a PIVOT table created through the CSV Import wizard, the file is about 13MB, this causes RapidMiner to hang.

Very Very Very frustrating :'(

Tried reinstalling, moving machines, reinstalling Java.

No good so far.

Anyone else seen it or know a solution?

    Hi,
how long did you wait? If Import wizard does not work, try using the read csv operator.

With version 5.1 the import has been improved in speed and stability. I hope this will be released soon.

Unfortunately the problem still exists  :(

Ups, sorry, after downloading the most recent build, the 25M csv file had been eaten easily. Though 500M still fails with OutOfMemory what looks reasonable without streaming import implementation

    Hi,
actually depends on your memory. Check whether your RapidMiner has assigned more than the java default 64MB in the Results perspective.
The tiny resource monitor will tell it...
