I've downloaded RapidMiner and tried to get it started. Nothing happens. Is there some additional step I need to take to license it or something?

Hi,
no, there is no seperate activation required. Make sure your java version is installed correctly, so when you type in java -version in your console, it shows something like 'java version "1.6.0_26"'. Apart from that, read this page: http://rapid-i.com/content/view/17/211/lang,en/ Start RapidMiner from the command line and copy&paste any errors here.
