Using "Read Access" Operator for .accdb Files

Alright, admittedly, I do not fully understand ODBC and JDBC bridges.  I would like to simply use the "Read Access" operator to connect to a .accdb database.  When I attempt to do that, I receive:

Dabase error occurred: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database 'unknown'.  It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.  The JDBC driver has thrown an SQLException...

When I look under "Show Database Drivers" I see that the ODBC Bridge (e.g. Access) looks good, to my knowledge, and states with a green check: sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver

All said and told, after some poking around, I setup a new User DSN via Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources and I am able to connect successfully via the "Read Database" operator.

BUT, I really like the idea/convenience of the "Read Access" operator, but I'm not sure what I'm missing?

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,

Jason
