Replace Dictionary

Hi,

 

I am using the replace dictionary operator to map certain entries into standardized values. But when I play the process, the entries are turning into "?"s. The only way it works is if I return the original set with the example set. 

Why is this happening? How can I make it work without returning the original list as well?
