Due to recent updates, all users are required to create an Altair One account to login to the RapidMiner community. Click the Register button to create your account using the same email that you have previously used to login to the RapidMiner community. This will ensure that any previously created content will be synced to your Altair One account. Once you login, you will be asked to provide a username that identifies you to other Community users. Cannot Start Rapid Miner Server Service

Hello,

I was hoping someone on here can possibly help.  I have installed Rapid Miner Server 9.4.1 on an Azure VM running Windows 10.  I can run it using standalone.bat but when I try to run the service it gives a non-specific error and does not start.

Has anyone seen this behavior before?  I did a lot of troubleshooting but cannot seem to come up with a solution.

    Thank you sooo much Marcel.  I did have the .r.lock file in there.  After removing that the server is now up and running.

    Appreciate the help.
