"Write Excel" is not exporting and excel file

I am using the write excel extension on a model and it is running correctly and showing me in the results page but not showing up in the folder designated in the parameter box. I also searched my entire C drive and cannot find it anywhere. Where or how do i get the excel to export?

    Hi,
    please do not connect the purple file output, then you get the output parameter. The purple fileoutput is used if you want to use it in Webservices as a return type.
